The program seeks to address the growing demand for skilled paramedics by providing comprehensive training to existing Franklin County firefighters. Over 4000 hours of paid training will be offered, equipping participants with the necessary expertise to serve as paramedics effectively. The curriculum will encompass a wide range of medical disciplines, including trauma care, advanced life support techniques, and emergency response protocols. Apprentices will receive hands-on training under the guidance of experienced medical professionals, both in clinical settings and through fieldwork alongside Franklin County's Department of Public Safety.
