Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Provider
This two-day course is intended for those who need to complete initial certification or have let their certification lapse past the recommended six-month renewal period. This course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Focuses on the advanced life support management of patients with tachycardia or bradycardic dysrhythmias, cardiac arrest, acute stroke, acute STEMI, and post-cardiac arrest.
Prerequisites
Must be able to read and interpret EKG rhythm strips and have a working knowledge of mediations commonly used in resuscitation.

All levels of healthcare providers.
Pre-course work and course requirements
Students are required to:
- Have a current AHA ACLS student manual with them in class
- Complete pre-course assignments that include a self-assessment of rhythm interpretation and pharmacology and viewing pre-course content online.
