Fundamental Critical Care Support

The Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) course provides healthcare professionals, including nonintensivists, with the training to manage critically ill patients for the first 24 hours or until appropriate critical care consultation can be arranged. The course concentrates on adult critical care but also includes separate sections on critical care for pregnancy and pediatrics.

Benefits of FCCS

  • Enhanced Preparedness: Prepares professionals for sudden patient deterioration and critical situations.
  • Systematic Approach: Provides a structured, evidence-based approach.
  • Continuing Education: Offers accredited continuing education credits and/or maintenance of certification points.
