Our accredited EMS courses are administered through the VCU Center for Trauma and Critical Care Education and sponsored by VCU Health. Our EMS courses are non-credit. As a VCU Health program, we do not have the ability to accept transfer of credits from other academic institutions. Students wishing to enroll in Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) are encouraged to speak with an academic advisor (admission.vcu.edu/connect) to evaluate transfer and awarding of credit.
Students who have successfully completed the VCU Health Paramedic Program and obtained National Registry Certification for Paramedic may obtain academic credit through the Virginia Community College System toward an associate’s degree. VCU Health has an articulation agreement with Reynolds Community College to obtain such credit.
