CCEMT-P / Critical Care Emergency Medical Transport

COURSE INFORMATION

NOTICE: We are transitioning to a new online registration system the weekend of July 14, 2017; We will not be able to take online registrations between Friday, July 14 and Monday, July 17.  Any registrations received during this period will not be accepted.  Please refrain from registering until our new system is in place.

The Critical Care Transport Program was designed by the University of Maryland, Baltimore County to prepare paramedics and nurses to function as members of a critical care transport team. Critical patients that must transported between facilities require a different level of care from hospital or emergency field patients.
The Critical Care Transport Program brings paramedics and nurses together in an effort to bridge the gap between prehospital and hospital care.. The result is a specialized care provider that has an understanding of both aspects of
patient care, and uses the understanding to provide the highest level of care to critical patients during transport.
